NEW ERA WRESTLING DEBUTS!
This Friday, NEW presents it's first ever TV taping from the Don Coleman Community Coliseum!
As a member of the All-American Wrestling board, we are very proud to confirm that AAW's Head of Talent Relations "Wrestling's Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko will be at the event. In a match that Mr. Zbyszko signed himself, Mike Sydal and ACH will kick off the tapings! Also, NEW will crown it's first ever World Tag Team Champions as a one night four team tournament will take place! The four teams in the tournament will be The Briscoe Brothers, The Hart Foundation 2.0, The Young Bucks, and The American Wolves! Unfortunately, Prince Devitt and Karl Anderson will not be available at this event due to having to finish the G1 Climax in Japan. Finally, Nigel McGuinness has announced that AAW Heavyweight Champion Jimmy Jacobs will take on the winner of a singles match between Roderick Strong and Kenny Omega. Both matches will be happening at our first ever tapings this Friday night!
Be sure to join us for this two-hour taping as it's sure to be an event that you don't want to miss!

NEW ERA WRESTLING TV TAPING #1
ACH Vs Mike Sydal ACH Sticks with a fast strong basis of wrestling. Half way through the match ACH goes for a 450° Spash but lands wrong and gets rolled up...1.....2....3! Sydal wins! While Mike is celebrating, ACH hits him from behind and instantly turns heel. He shouts let's get him and no other then Slyck Wagner Brown comes out with a table. Brown nails Sydal with a BrainBuster and places him on the table. As, ACH is perched for the 450, Out comes Marty Jannety who pushes ACH down and fights off Wagner Brown. He is seen helping Sydal when the show goes to its ad break and as it cuts away, Larry Zbyszko begins to walk out.
Larry Zbyszko arrives and announces that he's very excited for tonight's show! He says he hopes that everyone enjoyed ACH vs Mike Sydal and introduces NEW's General Manager Nigel McGuinness to the audience! Nigel thanks him for the introduction and reveals that in the first round of the tag team tournament, The Young Bucks face off with The Hart Foundation 2.0 and The Briscoe Brothers will take on the American Wolves! In addition, he announces that he's set-up a surprise X-Division six-way match! Nigel thanks the audience and we cut to commercial break.
The Young Bucks vs The Hart Foundation 2.0 The Young Bucks come out to their usual heel tactics playing air guitar and all! The crowd absolutely hate them, however as soon as The Hart Foundation 2.0's music hits the fans cheer heavily! Nick Jackson and Harry Smith start off the match for their respective teams, with Harry using his strength to dominate Nick in the early going. Nick turns the tide with a quick poke to the eye and a tag to his brother. They go through their regular moveset and begin to try to cut off the ring. However, Harry is able to outpower him and tag Teddy. Teddy comes in like a house of fire and hits multiple variations of the armdrag on Matt. Out of nowhere however, Nick attacks him from behind and the Bucks begin to isolate Ted into their corner. They continue to hit him with many of their signature tag team moves including simultaneous dropkicks. Ted makes various attempts to tag Harry however the Bucks continue to disrupt the possibility every time he gets close. Eventually Ted is able to reverse an assisted sliced bread #2 and hit a springboard moonsault. Harry gets tagged in and uses his strength to hit many big moves on both Bucks including a double suplex. Eventually Nick reverses a Saito suplex with a spinning back elbow. Matt re-enters the ring and all hell breaks loose as Ted evens the odds. Eventually, Hart Foundation 2.0 went for a springboard Hart Attack but Nick Jackson crotched Teddy on the top rope just as he was about to get into the air. Matt punched Harry a few time and Nick hit a superkick to the back of Harry's head. This caused Matt to fall on top of Harry and Nick came in to add leverage to the pin and get the win! They were met with a chorus of boos from the crowd and Teddy voiced his displeasure to the referee.
The Briscoe Brothers vs The American Wolves The Briscoes came out to a good reaction as the crowd-pleasers. The American Wolves were booed due to them getting into a bit of a trash talk with some of the fans. Davey Richards got on the mic and started ripping a few of the fans in the audience for not cheering them but cheering the two Canadian boys in the last match. Eddie announces that the hunt is on and says The Briscoesare nothing more than a couple of Sandy Fork boys that don't deserve to hold World Tag Team Championships. This is received poorly by the audience and The Briscoes promptly attack the Wolves before the bell even rings. The ref backs Mark out of the ring but as the ref is distracted both Eddie and Davey choke and put the boots to Jay. Jay continues to take a beat down as the Wolves continue to tag in and out with Davey kicking him in the corner and Eddie chopping him. Davey lures Mark back into the ring which once again distracts the referee and allows Davey and Eddie to get in more cheapshots on Jay. As The Wolves went for an assisted alarm clock kick, Jay reversed it by pushing Daveys leg into Eddies arms and hitting Davey with a neckbreaker. Jay makes the hot tag to Mark and Mark comes in and puts a beat down to both of The Wolves. Mark continued with his redneck kung-fu which the crowd absolutely loved. Eventually, Davey is able to cheapshot Mark as he is about to hit a froggy-bow on Edwards. From there they try to go for the powerbomb-sliced bread combo but Jay is able to throw Eddie out of the ring. Mark hits a super hurricanrana off the top rope and Jay hits a frog splash to win the match and advance to the finals of the tournament later tonight!
Roderick Strong vs Kenny Omega Kenny Omega comes out to a good reaction from the crowd as he panders to the crowd with his poses as well as high-fiving everyone. Roderick Strong makes his entrance to a positive reaction as well but gets booed as he fakes throwing his shirt into the crowd. This match gets to a very frantic start as both Omega and Strong have a fierce back and forth of strikes. Eventually, Omega gets the best of Roddy and hits a back to belly piledriver. This however only gets a two count. Kenny then attempts to go up to the top rope for a 450 splash only to be met by Strongs knees at the end. Roddy follows it up with an Argentine backbreaker which gets a two count. After that, he picks Omega up and delivers a high knee followed by a sick kick. However as Roddy goes for the End of Heartache, Omega lands on his feet and hits Strong with a Hadouken, Tony Jaa, and Croyt's Wrath all in succession to pick up the win. Roddy refuses to shake Omega's hand after the match and when Jimmy Jacobs attacks Omega from behind, he does not help. Roderick walks to the back looking dejected and slightly angered at his inability to win the match. Jacobs hits Omega with the Contra Code and stands over him holding the AAW Heavyweight Championship high in the air.
Surprise X-Division Six Way First out to the ring comes Sonjay Dutt, who gets a nice ovation from the crowd. Next comes Kid Kash who is not accepted well by the fans. Amazing Red comes out to another good reaction from the crowd as he high fives many of the fans. Homicide is booed as he comes out in his LAX gear waving gang signs and cussing at the crowd. The crowd is once again pleased when Ricochet comes out and does a little bit of breakdancing in the ring. Finally, Jimmy Rave comes out with his Guitar Hero guitar controller and pretends to play guitar and sing. This annoys the crowd. Throughout this match we see many innovative moves including Amazing Red hitting a hurricanrana to the outside to Homicide who lands on Ricochet, Jimmy Rave, and Kid Kash. Sonjay then hits a springboard moonsault off of the top rope to all five men on the outside which initiated a "this is awesome" chant. As the action spills all around the inside and outside of the ring, Homicide is able to hit the Cop Killa on Amazing Red in the ring. From out of nowhere Ricochet hits Homicide with a spinning toe kick which sends him to the outside. Ricochet climbs to the top rope and hits Amazing Red with a double moonsault to pick up the win. Nigel McGuinness comes out after the match and announces that all six men have been signed to short term contracts and that we will see the introduction of an X-Division championship to NEW soon!
The Briscoe Brothers vs The Young Bucks The action begins in this match right away as The Young Bucks attack The Briscoe Brothers amidst their entrance. They are able to isolate Mark and send him crashing into the barricades with high velocity. While Mark is down on the outside, the Bucks force the referee to ring the bell and right away Matt goes for a pin on Jay but is unable to pick up the victory. Both teams appear to be very worn out here as Mark is taking a long time getting up and Nick is leaning on the ropes. Regardless, Matt makes a tag to Nick and they start to hit Jay with a variety of their arsenal of moves. After a flurry of superkicks, Nick goes for a pin but Mark is able to break it up. Matt tosses Mark out of the ring and The Bucks hit a tandem piledriver followed by Nick swiftly transitioning into a moonsault to the outside. They motion for the More Bang For Your Buck on Jay but he is able to reverse it and push Matt to crotch Nick on the top turnbuckle. The Briscoes set-up for their patented Doomsday Device but Nick lowblows Mark as the referee isn't watching. As the referee tends to Mark, Matt is able to get off of Jay's back and deliver a low blow. The Bucks follow it up with More Bang For Your Buck to win and become the first ever NEW World Tag Team Champions! The crowd does not take this well but The Bucks don't care and start taunting the crowd with crotch chops.
Kenny Omega vs Jimmy Jacobs(c) Finally, the Heavyweight Championship match that the capacity crowd in the Don Coleman Community Coliseum came to see! Kenny Omega makes his entrance first and is notably selling a back injury but still high-fives and panders to the fans. Jimmy Jacobs is welcomed by boos from the pro-Omega fanbase. The bell rings and Omega starts to gather some momentum as he hits Jacobs with a variety of armdrags and strikes. However, he is quickly cut off as Jacobs hits him with a stiff shot to his back. Jacobs continues to work Omega's back and it seems Omega's chances of becoming AAW Heavyweight Champion are quickly fainting. As the match continues, Omega is able to kick out of Jacobs Berserker Drop and Senton. Jacobs then promptly hits him with the Contra Code which again Omega kicks out off. Jacobs then inadvertently takes out the referee and grabs his championship and hits Omega with it. Jacobs goes for the pin but the referee is still out, Jacobs tries to wake up the referee. Out of nowhere, Omega is able to get up and hit the Ex-Hadouken followed by the Croyt's Wrath. But Jacobs is once again able to kick out of the pin. Omega, Jacobs and the referee all seem to be exhausted and laid out. Omega somehow gets up and heads for the top rope to go for a 450 splash. Then, he notices Roderick Strong walking down the entrance way, and unbeknownst to Omega Jacobs is now holding the AAW Heavyweight Championship once again. As Omega and Strong start mouthing off, Jacobs plasters Omega on the back with the belt and hits a Contra Code off of the top rope! Finally, Omega is out of gas and no longer to kick out as Jacobs gets the 1-2-3. Jacobs leaves the ring celebrating with the AAW Heavyweight Championship to a very angry Houston crowd. As the show goes off the air, Kenny Omega is seen furiously staring at Roderick Strong.

"The Show did about 22,000 viewers which is okay, counting the ticket sales and half the viewing pay, you made $16,000 last night. Which considering you pay over $60,000 a month (now $72,000 following a fine for misuse of talent and all the `surprises` you pulled. The board is unhappy with your show but was very pleased with Harry Smith and The Young Bucks. Teddy Hart will be Un useable next week due to a concussion he suffered last night. You are currently in breach of copyright by using the `X Division` name, so Zybzko is a bit sad about you doing that. Larry has decided to give you a shot though, he would like you to get a card ready for next Saturday because....you guys will be on PPV! It will be headlined by Jay Lethal vs Jimmy Jacobs for the AAW Championship.

NEW ERA WRESTLING TV TAPING #2
Nigel McGuinness comes out to start the show and announces that NEW will be participating in the AAW PPV happening on Saturday. Nigel announces that tonight will be the beginning of the NEW High-Flyers Championship Tournament! The tournament will feature the six stars that Nigel surprised us with last week with the conclusion of the tournament coming at the AAW PPV! Nigel then announces that they need contenders for the NEW Tag Team Champions for the PPV so tonight we will see The Briscoe Brothers take on The American Wolves in a rematch! Nigel says the Hart Foundation 2.0 will not be participating due to Teddy sustaining a concussion last week. Finally, Nigel announces that at the end of the night we will have a contract signing between Kenny Omega, Roderick Strong, and Harry Smith as they will be participating in a triple threat match for the NEW World Heavyweight Championship at AAW Retaliation!
Sonjay Dutt vs Kid Kash Once again Sonjay is cheered by the crowd whereas Kash is jeered. This match moved at a frantic pace. At one point Kash gained the upper hand after a rake to the eyes and a variety of manoeuvres ending in a springboard moonsault from the corner. However, Sonjay was able to counter the Dead Level and hit Kash with the Satellite DDT. Sonjay followed it up with the Moonsault Stomp to pick up the win!
Homicide vs Amazing Red Homicide came out to jeers much like Kid Kash and Amazing Red came out to a great reaction. This match moved at a much slower pace as Homicide continually kept Amazing Red in a variety of rest holds and limited his ability to fly. Eventually, Red was finally able to get the support of the crowd and use his speed to his advantage. As Red was about to hit the Infra-Red, Homicide crotched him and hit the Cop Killa to advance in the tournament!
Jimmy Rave vs Ricochet Jimmy Rave entered once again with his Guitar Hero gimmicks. Ricochet started clapping and pleasing the crowd. Ricochet came in with a flurry of different kicks and strikes. Rave was able to turn the tide after using his Gravity Killer. Jimmy Rave then began showboating with his guitar controller which turned out to be his downfall as Ricochet hit him with the Rickrack and followed it up with the Double Moonsault to get the 1,2,3.
The American Wolves vs The Briscoe Brothers The Young Bucks came out before the match to join commentary. The Briscoes once again came out to cheers and The Wolves once again trash talked members of the audience. This time, The Briscoes jumped the gun and started to beat down an unsuspecting Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards. Quickly the match began and The Briscoes took a firm advantage early on. Davey was able to escape the Froggy Bow and tag Edwards. Edwards was able to isolate Mark to the Wolves corner and the Wolves peppered Mark with their trademark kicks and chops. As Mark began to feel the crowd and start coming back, he reached to the corner for a tag to his brother. However, Mark did not notice that The Young Bucks had pulled Jay off the apron and hit him with superkicks. Eddie was able to hit the backpack stunner on Mark and Davey followed with a diving double footstomp to pick up the win.
Nigel McGuinness came out to the ring with the contract in hand and called out Kenny Omega, Roderick Strong and Harry Smith. Smith and Omega were welcomed by cheers from the fanbase. Roderick received a mixed reaction as the crowd were not sure how to react to him. All three signed the contract and the match was made official. Roddy then got on the mic and announced that Nigel should just give him the NEW World Heavyweight Championship as everyone knows that he's going to win. Kenny Omega then took the mic from Roddy and reminded him of the outcome of their match last week. They then got in each others faces and into a shoving battle and Harry Smith tried to pull them apart. Strong got the last laugh as he slapped Kenny Omega in the face and swiftly moved out of the way causing Omega to almost hit Smith. Omega and Smith had a stare down as Strong smirked as he stood at the top of the ramp. This segment ended the TV Taping.
