Authority Wrestling Federation
Our Mission: To provide quality storyline in the product, without irking our responsibility to the wrestling.
What is Authority Wrestling?
Imagine a wrestling federation that does base itself around good rivalries and solid storytelling, without ever giving a wrestler a set place on the roster. All matches are setup prior to showdate, however if something does arise, they can be changed immediately, and the story will simply shift into another gear. The wrestlers themselves are given a win\loss streak that is expected to fit the storyline, but nobody should ever truly fit the role of jobber if this style is being done properly.
How is this achieved?
Authority Wrestling has a scoring system for their show that has a person raised through the ranks by a win loss system. It means that the bottom rung wrestlers have to fight their way to the top percentile to get a match for either midcard or main event titles. While people fear that this may mean that people may see the same match multiple times, we will have this win\loss percentile reset every year in order to give the low level wrestlers a chance to strike back. On top of this we have many plans for storylines involving whomever may cause a monopoly over the bets in the future that I think the public will find extremely interesting.
Where is Authority Wrestling starting from?
My grandfather had a ring built from when he was a superstar. Though Maximus never won anything beyond a midcard belt, he loved wrestling very much and instilled that within me. When he passed on, the wrestling ring was passed to me, and I decided to push it one step further. I am glad to announce that Authority Wrestling has two title belts, set for a half hour show at the local YMCA. Local wrestlers who have worked in other promotions are putting the first one on in his honor, and from there the sky is the limit for Authority Wrestling Federation.

Wednesday 11\20\2013-The Inaugural Show
The YMCA Arena in Philidelphia is a different site for the spectators, a cold steel barrier surrounds a ring. Being the inaugural Episode, I have decided to have both a preshow, showcasing my wrestlers in their work. On the sidelines I have a meet and greet with Shelton Benjamin and Matt Hardy. Then I come out and introduce the show, asking them all to take their seats as we have a series of pre-show matches coming up.
Pre-Show Match 1: Raven Vs. Michael Tarver
This match was supposed to solidify Tarver as a badass, taking out Raven in under seven minutes with his Tarver's Lightening. Raven rises while Tarver celebrates however and powerslams him, then running out of the ring and grabbing a steel chair. Tarver then took several shots on the abdomen and back. Tarver remains without a definite push, however Raven is clearly heel.
Pre-Show Match 2: "Luscious" Rocky Reynolds Vs. "Black Sheep" Bennett Cole
Rocky and Bennet have a solid action match that goes back and forth for ten straight minutes. Rocky Reynolds picks up the win with a roll up, and celebrates. Rocky Reynolds seems to be a face, while Bennett Cole's demeanor may mean he is a heel.
Angle: Introductions
The Show Theme plays, as the show is introduced, "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Authority Wrestling Federation! Tonight we have a special list of matches that will be used to weed out the champions in our little group!"
Without any further ado we go straight into the first match.
Unstoppable Atom Vs. Justin Credible
Atom comes out with a very confident and long entrance. He takes his time moving to the ring, going from person to person, and then making sure to pose for them instead. Justin Credible comes in shortly after. There's a staredown, and then Atom offers his hand. Justin takes it, and a sign of respect is shown between Wrestlers. The match lasts seven minutes, with the InCredible Kick and a three count. The Unstoppable Atom is stopped, and he's shocked by this fact. Tag Team Match: Raven & Black Sheep Vs. Rocky Reynolds & Michael Tarver
Raven and Black Sheep enter, and Raven carries a mic up to the ring with him. He explains the pre-show disappointment he and Black Sheep felt, and the gratitude the felt at having another match. He promises that this one will go more to his liking. Next in is Rocky and Michael. They plan among themselves, as Rocky stares intensely up at their opponents. Raven & Tarver start, with Tarver looking strong. Raven tags out to Bennett at 2 minutes in, and Black Sheep immediately points at Rocky. Tarver tags in Rocky a few seconds later. Rocky also seems to have the upper hand, but Bennett slips out of a move and tags in Raven (4 mins), who throws Rocky off with his unique offense. Raven is clearly in control, but does miss a move. (6 mins) Rocky tags out, Tarver tags in, but again Raven takes command, planting Tarver. This lasts less time, as Taver and Raven seem to even out the score with a series of give and takes. Finally Tarver tags out, as does Raven. (8 mins) Rocky and Bennett go back and forth, with Rocky getting the upper hand slowly. He is able to put Black Sheep into the Boston Crab, but as he does so, Raven grabs a chair and beats him with it. The match is DQ for Rocky and Tarver at 10: 15. Tarver begins to come to Rocky's aid, but just as he's about to come in, Raven lunges at him with the chair. Luckily Tarver ducks out of the way last minute and leaves. Black Sheep and Raven take a moment, looking at each other, not sure what the other will do. Raven gestures down at Rocky. Black Sheep takes a moment, as if deciding, and then hits him with a powerbomb. They walk off feeling victorious.
Matt Hardy Vs. Chris Masters Vs. Gregory Helms
The three Superstars face off in a triple threat that pushes each of them to their limit. Gregory Helms gets taken out early in the match, and is not seen for a majority of it. Matt Hardy and Chris Masters face off, which turns into a series of moves from each. Matt hits his Twist of Fate, but Gregory Helms comes back in and suddenly takes control of the match. Gregory uses a series of blows to keep Matt down, attempting a few submissions as well. Matt rolls through on one and almost gets the three count, but Chris Masters is able to break it, putting Matt Hardy into the Master Lock. Just as Matt begins to fade, Helms comes back to break it, but Matt quickly takes over, and hits a twist of fate on Helms. Winner Matt Hardy. 8 minutes
Shelton Benjamin Vs. Carlito
From the beginning, Carlito takes off, countering one of Sheltons power moves and using his Luchador skills from there. Shelton is able to roll away from a flying leap, and counter with a boot to the head. Carlito kicks out at a two and Shelton takes back control. Another powermove, another two count. Carlito counters with a kick and goes into a roll up, followed by a series of kicks and a dive off the top rope. He only gets a one, and Shelton is back up, however Carlito performs a hurricanrana on him, sending him flying, and then another series of ground moves. Shelton gets up, taking back control, but Carlito isn't far behind, a series of counters by both superstars, ending in Carlito getting his foot twisted in an ankle lock. Carlito is able to roll under and trip Shelton however, rolling him up for a pin. It should be noted that Carlitos feet were on the ropes at the time, though the referee didn't see it. Shelton is stunned by the loss, as Carlito mocks him on his way out of the arena. 8.33
Angle:Jerry Lynn
A cocky Jerry Lynn's music strikes, and he walks out, microphone in hand. Carlito stops in his tracks, confused by the sudden entrant and on the defensive. Jerry walks up beside him, smiling, then speaks. "Shelton, I thought I would be getting myself the gold standard. I thought, quite idiotically, that you were that untouchable favorite of the people, which meant that you were practically unpinnable. I was a fool." He looks at Carlito, "Lots of good things have come from having a manager. I came here looking to start a clientele list to supplement myself now that I don't wrestle. So what do you say? Are you interested?" He holds out his hand.
Carlito looks at him suspiciously, while Jerry continues to put his hand out. Carlito shakes his head no and walks to the back, leaving Jerry Lynn looking at Benjamin, who is now getting out of the ring and coming towards him. Jerry backs away slowly, getting ready for a fight. Shelton moves forward, clearly hurt, but still viable. Suddenly Matt Hardy comes out and blind sides Shelton. With Shelton down, he walks over to Jerry, holding out his hand. Jerry holds out a moment, but then takes it, smiling. Matts music plays.
